    Hi Guys,

2 self help book sto try- I've just ordered mine on net:
    1) Getting better bit(e) by bit(e) by Ulrike Schmiddt and Janet Treasure
    2) Overcoming Binge Eating by Christopher g fairburn

I had my first meeting today at the clinic for eating disorders. It was so hard talking about myself and finally opening up face to face to a complete stranger and diving into my hidden forgotton past.
But definately feel better for it now and know that it's my first step towards real help. She suggested these 2 books to get by whilst I wait for therapy. Though I'd share with you all!

Thanks Nicole, what a great post! Ive been trying to find some good books. Another one that really helped me was Life Without ED by Jenni Schaefer. it is a great book for anyone who has struggled with anorexia or bulimia.

The best I've read and recommend from the heart if you'd like to read something really charming, honest and motivating:

Monica Seles: Getting a grip. On my body, my mind, my self.

For all those, who aren't willing to settle for a life less than they are capable of living.
