After I joined this forum I went through a good phase of not binging. But it's back and I need support. It is usually at night but it actually does happen on Tuesdays too during the day when no one is here and I'm doing homework all day in the kitchen.

    Today I started well:
    Breakfast: Pear
1 egg omlette with mushrooms, onions, and feta cheese
    piece of toast

Snack: Cottage cheese with banana cut up in it

    Lunch: Salmon over rice (leftovers)
    a little coleslaw
    a couple grape tomatoes

    Then within two hours:
    handful of chocolate chip
    4 marshmellows
a few spoons of peanut butter
    yogurt
    a few peacans
    some raisins..
    piece of bread..

it is so frustrating that I do this. Especially in the middle of the day when I still will be hungry a couple more times. Because now I don't want to eat but I have to and I'm just disgusted with myself.

the worst thing to do is to not eat for the rest of the day as this just sets yourself up for another binge as you will get too hungry and then it will be harder to control when you do eat.

You have done really well and by coming on here and journaling it you are really making positive steps.

I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you.

Thank you for the support. I decided not to restrict myself but just had a light dinner tonight:
Salad, cheese stick, edamame and 1/4 c of sweet potato that was left over.

I hope that tomorrow I can get back on track too.

It's okay. Today's a new day. Seriously put yesterday beside you and today will be great! wake up telling yourself that and if you believe it, you will surprise yourself!

    Breakfast: Apple
    English muffin w/ scrambled egg
    lunch: 3 celery stocks
    white rice
    streamed veggies
    tempeh
    cheddar
before work: 1 oz 2% cheddar cheese
    during work: 1/2 bread stick
after: orange, cheese stick, pickle, handful of almonds
-20 minute bike ride but had to stop after that because it started to rain.
    Dinner: talapia, broccoli, noodles.

So so.. a little excess. I could have stopped there but...
1/2 c low fat vanilla ice cream with chocolate chip
    2 oz 2% cheddar cheese
    2 carrots
slice of bread with cream cheese
    a bunch of chocolate chips.

Rediculous. I mean it wasn't through the roof but it's completely unneccesary. I'm not hungry. At the begining of that above food feast I was but then I was just eating. I wish I could just forget about food. Why does it have to be such a big deal.

are you restricting during the day because you are worried about how you eat ing the evening. If so this won't help as you will be craving by the evening.

Also a good way of changing the evening is by doing something else from the normal so that the same triggers aren't there. If you always binge watching telly then try reading or doing a craft, having a bath or a shower is another good one as it is harder to eat when you are doing those things.
The thing is you need to really believe that you CAN beat it. I know that for most of us that is difficult as it seems such a big thing to overcome, but we can do it, and we need to just keep trying until we do.
You will find the right thing that will help you.

I am not restricting. I used to do that but now I just try to eat a regular meal. Today my goal is to not binge tonight. I am going to use your advice Jacqui and take and shower and maybe do something OUTSIDE of my room until I go to bed. I tend to go into my room at night and spend hours on my computer. During that time I will continously go into the kitchen and grab food. So far.. :

    Breakfast:
English muffin with cheddar melted on it
    2 bananas

Also, I'm going to the doctor today and considering telling him about my binging. I have no clue how I'm going to bring it up though. Or get myself to say anything.
