Everyday I keep on slipping and binging. This has probably been the worsts few weeks of binging I have had in a longgggg time. How do I start over? At what point is enough? I'm so tired of falling and am loosing the courage to start over. This is so hard and I know it is no ones fault but my own. Am I addicted to food?

    Hey you guys!
Just wanted to tell you to stay strong and keep hoping.
About a month ago a had such a phase too. I binged for whole week. I didn't leave my room, didn't go to lectures, didn't sleep at night but ate about 6000-8000 calories a day
Then one day, I told myself: Stop. Every day I would fight anew and know what? With time and a bit courage it got better. I'm not binge-free but is has lessend considerably. Try to break your habit of bingeing. Visit a friend, stay with a person you trust for some days.
It is very important that you stop to pity yourself. What's done is done. Leave it behind you and try to move forwards. Step after step. Day after day.

  4. im sure all of us feel that way at a point of time.but remember not to aim for perfection. i tend to binge big when i slip a bit but little by little, we'll learn how to get through those small mistakes. i understand how hard it is to start over. however, you have to keep yourself motivated by coming here and writing things down or by getting help from others near by you. if you keep thinking that you cant do it, it's too hard, how do i do it?, how does everyone look like they're doing good but not me?, why cant i be normal?...thats just gonna affect you negatively. even after binging, tell yourself that it's ok . you are gonna be ok. and write down how you feel.and ask for help to anyone. dont be afraid.

i hope you're feeling better today

Hello Flather, I would say that you may have got yourself into a rut with the binge eating and a pattern has taken hold of you. Now you are finding it hard to break free from it. I would advise you to wait until your period is finished (i'm presuming you are female,) when you would not be getting food cravings and try to work on your plan to stop binge eating. I also used to suffer like you, have you ever got counselling for your battle with food? I have and it really does help. When we binge eat we are trying to fill in an emotional hole, but that can't be done with food, as your body can only physically allow you to eat a certain amount
