    Hi Guys,

Just found out my cholesterol is a bit high.
Now i'm sad an thinking have i done this to myself.
I usually am soo strict with food, low fat everything, no pies /pastries etc..
But when i binge it could be chocolate, crisps, cheese and crackers..
I feel so awful, now im starving and don't know what to eat for dinner! Don't even know what I fancy and will it be satisfying.. i.e if just have porridge, will i want more after!
    i hate being so indecisive.
Ive exercised for 90mins today so am extremely hungry.

Oh I think i deserve a 'normal' meal.
Hope i can stop at that!

    Will post later!

    Hey Nicole,
Since you consume lots of porridge and fruit and vegs, I would suggest you enjoy things like some crisps or chocolates at the same meal/snack for this dietary reason: the soluble fibre in your healthier choices binds some of the fatty acids (from fatty foods) and sends them out in your stool. So a portion of the fats you just ate does not get digested. To put it crudely, you poo out some of the fat thus you don't get the calories from it. This has a mild cholesterol-lowering effect too.

    Hi, thanks for that info..

I'm all or nothing, so if i can avoid the fatty stuff, id rather just do so.
It's otehr times when i feel like that stuff like in a binge.

Well had my dinner- thai green curry chicken with rice. a decent sized portion.Ate really slow and kept asking myself if i was full.
I did eat every last bite but was extremely hunger beforehand.

Then started to relax and had a coffee and now im posting and listening to music i like to relax to. This is working!

Oh why can't i do this everyday?
the days i dont post- i binge.. but then its too late.
