“When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one… then you will enter the kingdom [of God].”
The Gospel of Thomas
Dualities exist only in our mind and nowhere else. There is no separation or conflict in the Universe, and what we perceive as separation exists only because of a mental “charge,” which keeps dualities at a distance from one another. Thus, all that is needed is to eliminate the charge between them, and the dualities become one on their own. The dualities are one, but the separation between the dualities is just an illusion. It is like a box of matches between two magnets. Once we eliminate the box, the magnets stick together on their own.
An important element of the technique is the confluence of dualities. Our mind is operated by dualities, in the form of opposed ideas, concepts, identification, and labels. Dualities create a strange world. You experience reality through a given system of dualities like good-bad, god-devil, noise-silence etc (you can find the “Merge” technique and the list of dualities on http://www.mastersofuniverse.net/start.html). All the irritations and events in the reality are judged by this system of dualities – the same music could be seen as good or bad depending on the time of day (early morning or afternoon). Of course, you are simply reacting automatically, not responding to the music, but to your relation with a good-bad duality. Freedom of choice comes from eliminating the dualities.
The confluence is managed by “Merge” technique in sub consciousness mind (SCM) and is very productive. At last you will realize that dualities are only an illusion and that the universe is one. I’ll recommend you to start with Merge of “Good” and “Bad” duality. You will see that energy level increase immediately.
Read the Merge processor including “Beginning of instructions” and “End of instructions”.
The neutralizing process is very simple. You pronounce the first part of the duality, the second part of the duality and then the word “Merge,” and repeat it until you feel yourself begin to smile. For example:
Good – bad – merge
Good – bad – merge
Good – bad – merge
Good – bad – merge
Good – bad – merge
If you start to smile – OK, the process is running and you can merge another duality. If after ten repetitions, you have not begun to smile, then move on to another pair of dualities – the SCM will neutralize the duality a bit later. It is better to feel the dualities while pronouncing them (it is not necessary to pronounce them aloud – it is enough to say them to yourself). And there is no need to repeat dualities processed earlier, i.e., you can delete the duality from the list, and there is no need to return.
By processing dualities, you will gradually shift from perception that appraises and sees things in dualities to perception that is nonjudgmental and non-polarizing. Your emotional balance will be more stable and lucid through the elimination of psychological problems and automatic behavioral patterns. You will also achieve a more “Buddhist” perception of life. In addition, some automatic behavioral patterns will vanish on their own, without consciously being processed, because they will no longer be relevant. It is a very amusing process and you will gain many insights as you go along. Please remain conscious and focus on the deviation of your perception and behavior and keep a journal.
You can use “Merge” processor to converge with noise, people, clouds, birds or anything else you find annoying. Please also find some automatic solutions (Life, Love and Money) on “To awake” (http://www.mastersofuniverse.net/awake.php) page. The main advantage of the Master’s techniques is the ability to specify difficult, comprehensive assignments for the SCM, to assign it many multitask procedures to process the layers of several problems, not only one.January 9, 2009 at 8:03 am #6883
In one of Andrew’s email newsletters he attached part of a post from someone who had done EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) for binging. I can’t find that post as I would like to reply and find out what success if any this person had. I have been taught EFT by a naturopath and a counsellor for binge eating, but i find it so boring and stupid and tedious that i just can’t motivate myself to do it. Has anyone done it? The web-site is emofree.com They claim that people with lon-standing binge-eating and bulimia have had results with that where nothing else works.January 9, 2009 at 10:12 am #6884
Like the majority of things although yes this technique can work for some it will not work for all.
I have tried it in the past but I am not a very physical learner and found that I got far more out of talking therapies and written than I did this.
However I know someone who has to do things physically and had found that counselling etc hadn’t worked at all for her, this technique was really good for her and she benefitted from it loads.

thanks Jacqui. I haven’t benefitted from counselling either. I don’t know why I resist EFT. I understand the basis for it – short-circuiting the learned behaviours, but I just resist doing it.January 15, 2009 at 4:04 pm #6886
I have used eft on loads of issues successfully but find it hard on overeating maybe we are both resisting because the core issues causingthe overeating are too buried or pain full .There is a shortcut method just tapping the ends of the fingers and using te phrases the same.I am going to retry it again now. There is also a yahoo group for eft and overeating.January 24, 2009 at 9:37 am #6887
what is the name (website) for this please? I was also taught a shortcut where hyou just use 3 points but I’m always at a loss as to what phrases to use.
One counseller said to say “binge” repeatedly but then I feel like I’m programming myself to binge. Another one said to say “even though i binge i totally and completely acceot myself”
i just don’t like doing it.November 14, 2011 at 5:40 am #6888
Death is an illusion. Death is actually an interval between two states or planes of consciousness. Matter is neither created nor destroyed; it only changes form.Death is therefore a Change or transformation, which is essential for the renewal of energy (the life force) and spiritual growth, a process similar to a caterpillar metamorphosing into a butterfly. Attachment to the material form (the Physical body) causes fear of death. There is much superstition, fear and ignorance among people with regard to the nature of death. We need to remove the IGNORANCE that makes us fear death.
We are most conspicuously attached to our bodies. We can sense life through our bodies. The identification of the Self with the physical form misleads one into thinking that the dissolution of the physical body results in the annihilation of the Self.We relish physical comforts and the pleasures of the senses. But if we consider this attachment, we will see that it is a potential source of suffering. This is because the body is constantly changing. We wish we could remain alive forever, but moment after moment the body is passing from youth to old age, from life to death. When we contemplate sickness, old age and the ever present threat of death, anxiety overwhelms us.Thus, we seek to elude the inevitable by evading the thought of it. Lust for life and fear of death are forms of attachment.
We are loath to part with these things and always try to accumulate more of them. We are also attached to memories of the past or anticipation of the future.
The aim of “Solution: Life” is to root out each & every point of attachment until there is not even a speck of dust left for the mind to grasp. This means that not only coarse forms of attachment such as passions and desires must be uprooted, but also the more subtle threads of intellectual.
Religious doctrines and materialistic educational systems have inadvertently encouraged man’s negative attitude towards death. They paint horrible conditions of the after-death state, ranging from eternal punishment and torture far worse than the cruelties and atrocities of the Inquisition, to the materialistic view of nihilism and annihilation. Religion and the academic institutions offer no real comfort or solace to those whose loved ones have faced the great change.
The fear of death is actually man’s fear of the unknown, and it indicates man’s bondage to his ignorance which ultimately develops into superstition. Because of the underlying fear, man laboriously attempts to postpone death through medicine and other means. Knowing the true nature of death releases man from his bondage to his fears and from his varied superstitions pertaining to it.
Philosophically speaking, this is the state of duality, and unless man perceives the One Reality underlying the dualistic worlds, as well as his true nature, he lives in fear and in a state of slavery. Mystics call this “dying while living,” and advanced mystics have reached a state where they may predetermine and trigger the time and process of their physical and mystical deaths.
The fear of death has a lot of branches, such as the fear of being helpless in old age or of having a large amount of sex in order to have more children, so saving your body from death. Life and death are just dualities and them has to be merged in your mind by use of Merge technique. “Solution: Life” will substantially increase our enjoyment of life,of every breath and of the sun’s light.
The “Solution: Life” instruction could be read aloud or silently one time, including the phrases “Instruction for the Sub Conscious Mind” and “End of instructions.”
Please note that for the use of “Solution: Life” you need to read the following processors “Clap”, “Execute it”, “Merge”, “Hoppo” . All solutions are FREE.June 9, 2012 at 5:26 pm #6889

In many ways our minds are very similar to computers. In a computer you have hardware and software. The software is all our thoughts, feelings, memories and beliefs, as well as our basic innate intelligence. Just like with a computer, we start with our operating system: in this case, the programming for our basic body functions and the underlying intelligence that allows the system to function and accumulate knowledge. Unlike a computer, there are many more basic functions built into our operating system. In fact, all that we need to function well in life is already part of our operating system.
As we go through life, we have experiences and accumulate data, so our resident memory gets more and more full and our processing capabilities gets more taxed. Just like with a computer, the more memory that is free and the more processing capability that is available, the faster and more efficient the computer functions. However, experiences that have a neutral emotional content—that feel complete—are highly compressed. Conversely, emotionally charged or incomplete experiences are like programs and files that are left open running in the background, so they are using much more of your available memory and processing capability. These open programs and files also take a toll on our basic ability to function effectively in life and learn new useful skills. They create mental confusion and conflict because they are often sending contradictory messages that interfere with your conscious intentions and with each other.
Thus, how to erase your contradictory and outdated programs from your mind and get the new energy level?
The idea for this solution was inspired by the Slavinski technique for working with unfulfilled aims, but it turned out to be quite different. The solution processes and removes all of a person’s aims which have not been achieved or which have been cancelled. The meaning of this function is as follows. Behind every person there is a tangle of aims which were put there by that person, most of which have never been achieved. All this “housekeeping” naturally takes up a person’s energy and concentration by having to carry around the baggage of thousands of unachieved aims throughout a person’s entire life. Here, using just one procedure, we can eliminate this backlog, thus freeing up a lot of energy and concentration, and so new aims begin to form much more quickly and effectively. Please note that, once you have started, all your aims will disappear. If some aims are important to you, you will need to set them for yourself again. The process simulates the experience of achieving aims and only then can the aim itself be removed. It is done this way specifically thus it is not so painful when a person’s favorite toys – “aims” – are taken away.
