<description>&#60;p&#62;Not the best day but not the worst.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Breakfast - muesli&#60;br /&#62;
Lunch - corned beef salad sandwich&#60;br /&#62;
Snack - cereal bar&#60;br /&#62;
Snack - mars bar&#60;br /&#62;
Dinner - scampi and salad with mayo&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have decided that I am going to start to record my food again as it helped me to keep focussed and not to let my eating go over the top even though I am not actually binging.&#60;br /&#62;
Like today I really didn't need the mars bar and only had it out of habit, you know it is at the counter when you are paying for shopping so you get it and before you realise you have eaten it as well. But a very positive thing is that I haven't let it get to me so that I binge, which is great&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I had my mum and Dad round this evening and cooked a meal for them as they are going on holiday and won't see them for a little bit. It was a really nice evening and we ate and chatted and was just really relaxed.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Hubby is looking as though he has a bad cold coming which is not great as he is just starting a weeks leave from work so won't be able to enjoy it as much.&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;I should know whether I have been shortlisted by Monday, but if successful it is just the start of the anxiety as it would mean a specialist child protection interview, and then if successful at that a day at and assessment centre with a further 4 different trials before the final decision is made. WHY am I putting myself through this???????&#60;br /&#62;
I have also sent my CV off today to another couple of places as I am not going to rest everything on 1 position in case I am not successful.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Food wise I have had a couple of chocolate bars today that I didn't need at all and I know that I ate them for comfort, but I am strangely ok with that. Not sure if I should be alright with it but it sure beats feeling guilty. As long as my hips agree and don't decide to spread too far it should be ok.

&#60;p&#62;I had a weird day yesterday, my mother in Law (who I love to bits) is going through a really difficult time at the moment and her partner of 16 years is in the process of leaving her (possibly for another woman). MIL is in bits understandably. We spent the majority of the afternoon and evening around her house yesterday helping her with things around the house that she needed doing, and she cooked dinner for us. It was very nice but also very fatty (she hasn't heard of moderation when it comes to oils in cooking) and she had done pudding especially as well which I wouldn't normally have but felt rude not to.&#60;br /&#62;
Normally I would be in turmoil today thinking about how I ate much more than I wanted to eat but I haven't. I have finally completely and utterly realised that worrying and blaming myself for eating something isn't going to change the fact that I did eat it. All it is going to do is make me want to punish myself and that just means eating more which I am not going to do.&#60;br /&#62;
I really do think that cycles of binging are becoming a thing of my past. I do think that much of it is to do with the support on here so thank you all

<description>&#60;p&#62;well done jacqui...its funny how a small change in routine like changing your commute to work can really help. I also changed my journey to work recently so that i avoided 2 grocery stores on the street next to my work, plus all the take out places at the train station, plus its even shortened my journey time so when ive finished niteshift, the time i get home, the wee sweet store next to my house hasnt even opened yet. Its all good!!&#60;br /&#62;
Sounds a bit dramatic, being so pleased i bypass these placees, but believe me its a huge relief!

<description>&#60;p&#62;A break through. I was on a late shift at work last night with a sleep in duty attached to it. Normally I would use this time to binge as I am on my own and there doesn't seem to be anyone to account to about it. But yesterday I decided that as much as a good part of me was telling myself to go to the shop on the way to work and stock up for a binge I knew that I needed to break this habit. So I changed the route I drive to work so I missed going past the shops I would normally go to, and I gave myself strict allowances for what I was going to have, and also what work I wanted to get through so that I had my mind elsewhere, and it worked, I didn't binge. I am so happy that I managed to do this.&#60;/p&#62;

I know I can get through all of this and I know because I have managed it now, that even if I do have a binge I can move on straight away and not dwell on it or let it affect my future eating. That is something I have never managed to do in the past so I really do think that I have changed deep down this time. I am not controlling my food or resticting it I am just eating. I am also feeling things and for the first in a long time I am dealing with my emotions rather than just supressing them with food.&#60;br /&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hello. Nope visitor went yesterday morning but I have been at work so not been able to get on. Food wise I went totally off track yesterday and I am not proud to say I have binged. But looking at the positives, it was no where near as large a binge as I would have eaten in the past and I have gone for a number of weeks now without anything so that is really good. I am also already back on track as I am determined not to let a binge spoil the progress that I have made and how positive I have felt about it.&#60;br /&#62;
I think that I was trying to hide as I was completing the application form for the new job and although I know I am good at my job I am very anxious about what will happen if I am not selected.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Well it is slightly more positive than it has been, I have found out today that if I survive the application and interview process and secure a deputy job then because it is a lower grade than the current job I am in I will be eligible for pay protection for 3 years, it does mean than I will go for it as if I get it then I will have to really decide whether I am ok with the situation and if not to get something else without having to panic&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Food wise I am still really on track with it an haven't binge at all recently which I am really pleased about.&#60;/p&#62;
